my buddy was talking of making a raptor r1. and after an hour he/we are getting pretty serious. my question is how much trouble is it ito put the r1 motor in a 660r frame. The fabrication is not to big of a problem. we just wanna know if we're gettin in over our head. any help would be great.(also anything i forgot you wanna add). thanks

The fab part is huge acutlly. I saw it in Dirt wheels, the latest issue. Some person in the UK did it for a street quad. Basically, to even fit the motor into that frame you have to cut it out, then wield with the motor in place!!!!! Not to mention lining up the carbs into place. Oh boy, I would just keep the r1 motor inside the bike frame :/

what i meant by fab is no big problem is that we're all decent welders and have a shop to do it. and my friend want to have a road bike, and he can get the frame and engine and what not pretty cheap
