shortining an fmf muffler

will shortening an fmf muffler do any thing for power gains if so how much do u shorten by. Also i searched and found that a few people did it.

shortening really only makes it louder. not worth the hassle to do it. i did it to an lrd and basically wasted a nice silencer. if you do cut it, measure good and make sure you cut the correct side so it will still mount up. Corey

i've tried both. long and short and really cant tell an ounce of difference.
