In Beauceland, Quebec, you just can't go ride without a winch! It took me 3 hours to get out and hopefully we found a pile of wood beside the (snowmobile) trail and i always have a 75' rope to get the nearest tree big enough to winch 700 pounds!
This was april 08!

Mud was over the front bumper and jeep cherokees come with no tow points so i had to hook it to the leaf spring.

You couldnt get it looped over the axle tube?

My General Manager of the Hummer dealer I work for. H2s come stock w/ 35s. Pretty deep hole. Water was only about 6 inch deep. Took an H1 to pull it out.

After I rooted around in the hole for about 2 mins.

Rubber boot on side of trans came off and clutch filled up with mud. I didnt really get stuck. I had no clutch.
