can anyone help me on my situation I have a 2007 dvx400 with hmf pipe jetkit air filter and stage 1 hotcams but i would still like to have each gear a little longer and maybe better top speed it has alot of bottom end power its real snappy but i like it but 5th gear comes too quick any advise on sprokets or something thanks

what size sprockets are you using now?

stock so whatever they arei think 40 in the back and 14 in the front

You can get a Dyna CDI which will extend the rev limit range. This would be effective for all gears. Only thing with adding a rev box is it's recommended to beef up your valve train, springs, valves and chain so it can handle the extra stresses. Dropping to a 38 in the rear should also pull longer in every gear. 1 tooth in the front is about two in the back.

ya well i just put in a new timing chain and valves and i was thinking about a 15 tooth in the front but thnaks for that calculator thats pretty neat but what i don't get is the tire size what makes you go faster i mean what size tire

If its a money issue,I would just put a 15T in the front. Front's are a hella lot cheaper than the rears.

The farther you move out from the center of the axle the faster it spins. The larger the tire, the faster you go.
