Thinking of racing next year and was wondering if any one can give me some info on set ups and things. I am thinking of racing a 400ex.,but not to sure if i should go bigger, I will be in c class. If you guys can give me some info that would be great.

narrow front and rear end and good suspension always helps. i am going to be selling my 440 after this season is over to move up to a 450. 400ex's hang with the 450's all day if you know how to ride it:D i think the most important thing for me was the shocks though. good luck

xc racing is not all about the bike. It's more about the rider. try to stay around 46-47 inches wide.

Shocks is probably the most important to me..... Also make sure you got yourself setup right too. :cool: . Start training and exercising if youre not already. I wish I would have before I ran my first one.;) Most important thing to do is have fun on your first race... After that you'll figure out what you need to change in your quad's setup.
