I just got a Outlaw 500, paid $3300 for it. I hope I got a good deal. Anyway I am looking for a Twist throttle conversion. Motion Pro makes 3 kinds, vortex, cr comp, and cr pro. Which seems to have the best ratio for trail riding? Or anyother opions would be helpful. I have always ran the turbo on my other quads, and it seemed to be ok for most riding other then motocross.

Motion pro's website breaks down how much of a turn each one is.

I run the 1/2 turn on my Pred, and will do the same on my Outlaw 525

Could you post a link or something. I have been looking on the Motion Pro site for a while and they say they will not say how much turn a throttle has because that varies depending on the travel of the throttle. The outlaw 500 has about 1 in of throttle cable movement. Which translates to about 48 degress of rotation. Is that very much. The next losest is about 59 degrees.

well 360 deg would be a full circle and 180 would be a half. 48 degrees would be about 1/8th of a full turn.

I would say this may be a lot shorter than what your looking for.
