CR250 Ignition Question

Were is the best place to get a backing plate(stator plate) for the 250R so you can run CR250 ignition. ESR has them but who else.
Can you run a nology coil with the CR250 setup or do you have to stick with the CR250 coil. I already have the nology off of my 250R so I hate to junk it. I figure you can, just looking for info.

i got mine of evil bay.i would measure out the ohms of the 2 coils,if your nology coil is lower in ohms by a considerable amount than the cr coil,i wouldnt use it.

CT Racing has those adapter backing plates for the CR250R ignition conversion. Their plates are timming adjustable as well, where as the ESR one is not.
Cost like $80.00 though, same as ESR.
