I recently had to remove the front wheel on my 2002 Trx400ex to replace a bent rim. When attempting to remove the lug nuts, the lug/stud bolts would spin. I assume Honda presses the lug/stud bolts into the hub out of the factory? Can anybody provide the specs/size of the bolts and recommend a place to purchase new ones? Thanks.

The size of the lug nut is a 17mm yes there press from the factory and you have to buy a whole new hub to get the studs cuz honda doesnt sell the studs seperate.

BS

For the 400ex...they are not offered....but take one down to the parts counter...hand it over to him....and tell him to walk his lazy *** to the back...and begin looking in his stock bins for a match begining with the part # 90103-***-***. He should be able to find one. I work at Mid-Ohio Honda, Y,K,S...lol..yeah, we sell them all...lol. I have to go down on my day off in the morning tomarrow, and rummage the shelves my self. The previous owner of my quad installed wheel spacer, which required him to use long bolts in thier place. I got new a arms, and need all new studs when I take the spacers off

To get them out of hub....use a C clamp and an 18MM deep well, put deepwell over back side, and press them back out

When I get an exact PN# in the morning....I will post it so you can order some, or call my shop, pay with credit/debit...and I will ship them to you.
