Compression tester?

I was going to test my compression today. So I went for the tool. After getting there and looking at some, I realized I had no idea if the kit had an adapter that would work.


So what works on these things?...

I know the plug socket is oddball and the hole is pretty far down in there.

I can't help out mutch, but I'm sure someone sells the correct adaptor.

I made my own out of an old spark plug that was cut and welded to a piece of threaded pipe. my compression guage has quick connects like an air compressor hose, and I screwed one of those on the end of the threaded pipe so it would connect to my compression tester.

In the factory service manual there is a tool reference for the correct adaptor... but that number turns up nothing for me on the internet. I thought service honda would pull it right up.


I looked at several kits and one had...
10mm
12mm
14mm
14mm long reach
18mm

No clue if any of them are right.

I think it's a 12mm thread..............

Can anyone confirm that?
