Hey guys, Im goin long travel soon and I need some opinions on a-arms. I want to go as wide as possible as I mostly ride dunes and like the stability of a wide bike, so idealy +3. Im looking at a used set of axis 20" triple rates right now so which arms take 20" shocks? are JD's compatible? thanks for the help! any recommendations will be much appreciated.

I know JB takes 20" shocks, as well as the Laeger (same jig used to maek both) and I think JRD is very similiar.

JB arms are like 2.5 inches wide I believe.
But I ran Janssen Outlaw +3's on my practice quad with the 20inch axis. Its nice.

DC4s take a 20" shock.

I know they make good stuff, but I have a set of 20" shocks and the arms take 19 1/4". is this too big of a difference?

To be honest I'd get shocks/a-arms that are built for each other. Not a smart idea to mix and match length of shocks with arms, simply because not all a-arms are manufactured to the same spec.
