I have heard of people swapping out the DRR front spindle and hub assemblies for others like I "think" Honda 300ex parts.
Is this true, if so what are the benefits and so on?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the benefit would be on a dual a arm bike other than more caliper and hub options but we have used them on single a-arm to dual conversions simply due to they are easy to get ahold for good prices.

I don't think there are any performace gains but you might be able to get them cheaper than new DRR ones.
I have Z400 steering knuckle spindles and calipers on ours.

Z400 ones huh, Hmmm I wonder how much weight could be shaved by going a route the same or similar?

we used the 400ex hubs/spindles for our conversion. I think the 300ex spindles are cast/steel, so the aluminum 400ex/450r hubs would be better.
