laminated tear offs?

I should know this, but what is the difference between just regular tear offs and laminated tear offs?

i've wondered the same, i use the laminated on my oakley crowbar. I stopped using them in the wet seasons because if water got between them it would be like worse than drunk driving lol I thought the ground was all tilted and i was on a huge bank leaning on flat ground. that would have been hilarious if anyone saw me riding like that

The laminated tear off's are like a couple tear offs, kind of like fused together, and its kind of like one thick tear off when you put them on, but they peel off one at a time, compared to regular tear off''s they are all seperate.

Also though, laminated are supposed help keep water/debris from getting between each layer.
