LED brake light

I sent this on a Kawierider.com site and no one shows love or suggestion....


thought I'd try here....

will a KFX450 LED brake light work on a KFX400? same fit, adjustment required? any info would be great.... thanks!!

It's 400 but now 440:)
Its a Raptor 700 06 07. YFZ450 06 07 its the same I belive

what about any modifications i need to do or does it just fit right on and plug into the same harness or what?

the socket its different you need to cut and rewire.
on the bracket you need to cut it and drill holes and get some rubber to have some movement for the light so can resist impacts and vibration (longer life for the L.E.D.'s) or if you have time go to the dealer and check the yfz450 tail light so you can get an idea and buy the factory yfz rubber mounts

okay.. my friend does have a 07 raptor 700 so i will ask him to bring it back with him from the Sturgis, SD and I'll look at it then. might just buy a harness kit for the light and then do some modding and get it to fit. i got some rubber boots for cable fittings so they should work on the viberation part.
