Pipe Plating Whats Better??

Chromed, or Nickel or Ceramic?? I was told taht some platings will change a pipe characteristics.

Any outside coating could cause it to hold some heat inside the pipe, but would be very little & same would apply to performance change, very little as well.

Now, wrapping the pipe, with high temp exhaust wrap will cause a change, but only in the area where you wrap it at.

Yes I was being told that ceramic coating or wrapping will cause a pipe to become more reving due to it holding in more heat.
