Front Clutch question ?

I noticed the key thats on my crank seems wore down to nothing what causes and what is the affect of it being worn .

Sometimes the plate that it holds will spin.
Simply turn the key around and use the good end. :)

The reason I asked at the track yesturday I pulled off the front clutch because it wouldnt hardly pull the quad and the rollers were all practially melted and the inside of it all was gutted , I just got the clutch mods done and run about 4 laps , very confused never had this problem before ?:confused:

What clutch mods?

What I believe happened is that during installation of the front clutch, the plate got moved off the key. It happens. Usually once you do it, you will learn to double check it. :)

There may be other reasons.
