Powdercoating - just for show bikes?

I was thinking of powdercoating my frame and possible other parts of my bike, but not sure if it's worth it. Is that just for showbikes? I like to ride trails and my try my hand at racing.

What's the deal with powdercoating? Any use out of it or just to look pretty?

yep...show bikes only:eek: actually its a very durable finish that outlasts conventional paint. it holds its shine and will last for many years. of course you still need to take care of it:p
