Well check your idel screw and see where it is. It might could use turning a time or 2. But it also could be the jetting off. clean the air filter too, that sanother biggie. If you need anymore help let me know, ill be glad to give you any answers.

ok... answer a few questions first...

1. what are the specs of your bike.... (mods etc)

2. did you get it not running? or did this problem all of a sudden occur one day?

3. depending on your previous answer, what was the last thing you did to the bike?

we've tuned the idle screw over and over again but is still isnt idleing so the jets might be off but the air filter isnt bad if it was i would have cleaned it already the last thing for me to do is to bring it somewhere because it happend to my friend and he couldnt fix it either so he brought his to get fixed

the bike is stock theres nothing on it and i got it running but it was idleing because the guy had a napkin in the case for the throttle to keep it idleing because he didnt know what the problem was either. and i didnt like do anything to the bike besides take the napkin out because it was reving when u went to go shift and we tried twice to clean the carb and jets and stuff and adjusted the screws and still nothing

Have you tore the carb down to see what jets are in it. Mainley the main jet. If its stock it should be a 148. But if its not put a 148 in it and it should help.

Yea id step it up to a 150 or 152 and try that. Make sure the air/fuel mixture screw on the bottom of the carb is around 2 turns out. that should put you about right.

Just curious how is the main jet going to help idle?
