250r question?

im interested in gettin a 250r.if there is a good rider on it will it beat some 450's out there?.. maybe with a 310 kit in it?

All depends on what kind of riding your doing. But for the most part a 310r will basically hang with a 450 in duning but if your talking MX it will still basically hang with a 450 the only difference is you will use the clutch alot more on a 250r. It basically depends on what kind of riding your doing and how much you want to work.

i got a 260 or so motor and i have no problem beating the 450's you just have to be able to ride a little harder because of the clutch work but it is absolutley more fun to race a 250r

sweet! ya i saw one this weekend that had a lot of goodies on it and i just fell in love with it. ive been practicing on my bros 450 but i would just like a 250r.
is it true that the 250r's handle beter than the 450's?

ya i think the 250rs handle a lot more gooder then the new 450s with the excption of the ltr....but yea i used to race a 250r and loved beatin up all the 450s it was fun!!!! but ya do have to ride a lot harder on an r...really got to work the cluth a hole lot!!

I agree except for handle better than a ltr. Your right they handle better then all 450's and honestly they dont handle better then a ltr. The same YES better NO. I own both but im in the process of building a lobo 250r and have always been told they handle better then any other quad built. I will let you know because it should be together shortly.

yep i used to own both also....there both great bikes if i was to ever buy a new one i would go with the suzuki...but yea defently let me know how that lobo one handles!!
