They will bolt on, but you will need to use 06+ spindles.
04-05 a arms = 04-05 spindles
06+ a arms = 06+ spindles
Lots of riders prefer the 04-05 geometry over the 06 front end. I haven't riden an 06+ so I can't explain why.
That being said, you may be better off trying to sell off the 06 a arms and pick up a set for an 04-05.

The thing that is changed between the year models is the length of the Upper A-Arms. They are around a 1/4" longer on the older models because of the different spindles. You may have some camber issues because of this.

when i sold my old houser long travel I called houser to make sure they fit and he said that they would work just not the high ground clearance arms.

This is exactly right. You can squeek by with this though if you adjust the camber out as far as it will go. When the back of the nut is flush with threads on the balljoint, you will still have just slightly more camber than is optimal.

Yes they will work, there is 1/4 inch difference in the tops but you can easily get that adjustment out of your top ball joints so now worries. When i bought my 07 i ran houser long travels on the stock spindles for 6 months then i bought a set of 05 spindles and never had to change arms
