View Full Version : what jet should I use with Yoshimura Race pipe?

Just installed a yoshimura race system on my bike and would like to know what jet I should install in the carb.
My mods are.... Yoshimura Race system, vented airbox, and soon a K&N...
any ideas on brand and size of jets for my 400?
I live in CT and trail ride mostly-

dont know anything about jets, but how much did the pipe cost ya?

Try a 40pj and a 155mj for starters.

YES- but not 700.. more like 550 new...
The one I bought is in great shape- almost new- I am really happy withi it- awesome sound!

oh, i see now, ther is a comp race and pro series..comp is 450 race is 540 and pro is 675...you got one heck of a deal though

ya- i thought I got a pretty good deal. It was cool to cause when I e-mailed the guy, i found out he lived somewhat close by- so we both met half way and 2 hrs later I was riding my wheeler with it on- I really like it-
