before i open it up and swap out the stock system for the cr250 ignition, is there anything that i have to watch for? is it straight forward or is there marks that have to line up or something?

Only thing that is hard is the rubber grommet on the CR wire harness has to be trimmed to fit into the 250R case. You will know what I'm talking about when you see it. Other then that the CR setup is great.

couple questions...can someone post a pic of the adapter plate installed? does this work with all years of the 250r? i can't seem to get it to fit in. i have at least an 87 bottom end with a long rod crank. the plate seems to hit the counter balancer(i think that's what it it).

also on the counter balancer/bearing holder(whatever it is), there was a electronic piece mounted on it with 2 bolts. do u leave that blank and should u put the bolts back in?

it will fit, it only goes on 1 way..so try it a few diff ways.

you can take off the 2 bolts out of that (the small ones) , you still need the other 3 on there that hold your c-balancer holder on .

ok, i tried it all three ways, but i got called into work so i really didn't have long to mess with it after i got the old stuff out.
it just didn't seem to fit right though....the stator was already mounted on the esr plate when i bought it, so i figured it should be right.
