Petcock leak

I have an 87 250x. The petcock was leaking so I replaced the oring, the in tank filter and the gasket on the filter cup. It seems to be leaking inside the valve which is riveted together. Do I have to buy a new petcock or is there any way to fix this leak?

i have serviced the type that are riveted together and put them back together but caution sould be taken. as holes need to be drilled and tapped in order to re-assemble.
