Hey everyone! I am in the market for a new ATV. I recently put a downpayment for a 2009 Polaris Outlaw IRS...while I was waiting for my outlaw I got my hands on a 2005 Honda trx450R, kickstart, has a full exhaust ( a loaner from my dealership). The bike was amazing and I fell in love with it. Its currently being sold @ my local dealer for 4800, but I know a few people who will be able to drop the price for me. As of now, I want to save money and pick this bike up. It runs great, starts up first time with the choke on, and its FAST! First gear is low, but thats fine.

I was looking for performance parts, does anyone know good sites for the 2005 Honda TRX450R?? I want to hook this baby uP! Nerf bars and performance parts and all, thankyou! Also any information or details about this bike would be great, this will be my first honda / atv purchase.

Like said earlier 3200 is about what you should pay. At a dealer you will pay more, every dealer has one sitting threre for months with 4500 hanging from the handlebars.

For the parts, if your a newby like I was, call Colby at C&D Racing 1-402-614-2508 or go to their website cdracingonline.com but their site's really not that great. He is FULL of knowledge on 450's and will definantly be able to get you started on mods to the motor, suspension, tires, wheels, ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news! thanks for the help everyone!

My final price is roughly 4400 OTD, with new rear tires and a 4 year platinum warranty which is a good deal out here in Vegas.

Here is my question. Can someone help me find some paddle tires on www.rockymountainatv.com

I want the wheel / tire kit between 200 and 250 dollars, but will consider 300 at the max if its one of those "YOU NEED THIS" things. I tried myself and there are just SO MANY different types. I guess I will just stick with 9" wheels unless there is a benefit to having 10" wheels? Other then that I am not sure which paddle / wheel company to go with. Thanks again!

p.s. my dealers quote for the wheel/tire kit was 309.99 (kinda steep IMO)
