I've done some searching without any luck.Whats the length differences between a stock 250r rear shock in length verses a LT shock with stock linkage. Can you even have long travel rear with the stock linkage? If so how?

Here's your rear end choices: stock linkage (stock length shock), CR500 linkage, and no-link. That's about it. All three shocks are specific to the setup. All three have their pros and cons so don't anybody turn this into which one is the best, please.

Exactly i'm only concerned with the stock 250r linkage. What about using a durablue lowering strut with a longer shock to make rear long travel?Any thougths on this?

There are no long travel options for stock linkage. You'd have to go to CR500 to get that.

I personally feel long travel is a term invented for selling shocks. The 450R shock is around 15" "long travels are aound 16-17" and the 250R is 16 1/4"

It's too bad with all these new linkage developments for the 450's that someone hasn't even tried one for the 250R.
