Dyno tune vid with results - WOW

My Bro got his 450r tuned last weekend - it made some major improvements overall and he is very pleased with the tune. Starts right up, raps out more on the high in and better throttle response, and yeah his main goal was to be faster than me………now he is.:eek2:

If ya really want to wake up your quad and improve the performance add a couple mild mod’s and get it DYNO TUNED……. Thanks to the guys @ SANDTRAX for an awesome job.

well it wasnt running good enough to pull a before( cam chain was loose) but i would guess it was around 40hp -- a bone stock is 37/38hp

but with some mild mod's getting over 46hp is pretty good, the tech's said only a hand full of 450's with 3-4 thousand $ worth of motor work might get ya 55hp


At 46hp ya can really tell a big diff, we did some drag racing last sunday and he didnt get beat, but that was the 1st time out, the tech's also said that a good rule of thumb is for every 1hp added to ya atv vs stock is about 2 to 3 lengths at the end of the run.

now of course everybody is going to get diff results but for most of us on the fourm on a budget this is a good starting place to get a little more out of your quad with out busting a hole in ya wallet.
