WiFi on Campus

I need help connecting to wifi on campus. once i pick up the connection i can't get on to any website. it says i am connected and have good signal but no sites work. it either says page cannot display or problem with authorization or something along those lines. any help would be appreciated, thanks

You might need a VPN Client.

Google: "[Your School] IT WiFi VPN Client"

go to start run. Enter cmd and press enter. A DOS command box should appear. Type ipconfig /all and press enter.

What is your IP address?

Your Default Gateway?

Your DNS servers?

I am guessing you computer is seeing the network but you aren't really getting connected to it.
