Well I got a dumb story for ya,

My freind has a 99 400ex and one time up the mts he took an entire can of 104+ octane boost for cars and dumped the whole thing into his 4 wheeler gas tank.:huh Its suppose to treat 30 gallons, not 2.5. Anyways its still runs fine but I dont know for how long, I'll bet he has a whole in his piston from it. What a bonehead move!:huh :huh :huh :huh :huh

People mix a can of boost with about 2-3 gallons all the time. It is pretty much a waste, it cost about $5 for a 16oz witch only will raise 93 octane to 93.3. You can buy a whole gallon of race fuel for that price and when you mix 110 with 93 at 50/50 and get something like 101.

Not to mention how inconsistant pump gas and off the shelf octane boosters are. I saw a pic of a piston after running 92 pump with octane boost that was supposed to make it 100. The top of the piston looked like someone sandblasted it.............for a long time.
