what are the specifics? where do you have to drill and add lines. is it right where the oil pipe onnects below the oil filter and near the cam? also is it worth it because i have a .20 wieseco 11:1, and wb cam? thanx inm advance for any help.

This has been dissucussed a lot. Search and you'll find a couple threads that go pretty deep. I have a 250x and canlt decide if the extra wight is worth it!

You can add the lines where I did (circled in yellow) or you can add them where I'v circled in red. If you add them to the oil filter cover, it doesn't do as good of a job cooling the oil. The area circled in yellow is where most people add the lines. You can retap the holes to install a new fitting or you can do like I did. Just cut the metal oil line about and inch from the bolt and just slide your hoses for the cooler on there, than bolt them back to the motor. This way there is no taping involved. Here's the pic.

thanx alot. so now i need more details."where do you get the actuall cooler, and do you need a reserve tank like a 400 or wut give me all you now about them

i dont think it wold be worth it unless you were going to be running wot for extended periods of time

talk to tc or powroll about the coolers. you dont need it if you dont have engine mods or ride in really hot areas. i mean the cooler the better but you wont see that much difference on a stock bike
