well guys i just purchased a second hand PEP stick type steering stabilizer its in pretty good condition and all i just need to know exactly how to fit it, obviously the basic mounting isnt a problem put id just like to know exactly how far up the stem etc the clamp needs to go, i dont wana get it on there and then bend it or have it foul on something.
I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the instalation instructions laying around they could scan and post up or email to me?
I would really appreciate any help i can get.
also who else on here has these stabilizers whats your opinions of them?
cheers

I bought my PEP second hand off too and I like it but I havent tried any other damper so I dont know any better. It gets the job done, but I just wish it had more adjustment tho... To begin, Id try it on the middle setting, that might be best. I did an xc race with it on the stiffest setting and I could barely turn the bars near the end.lol..
The only thing right off hand I can think of is to make sure that it's not high enough that the stem bracket will hit the oil cooler.
Pm me if you got some more questions.
