Well its coming time to start working on the firebird this winter so i needed to get another vehicle thats 4x4 for the snow. I've been without a wheeling rig for about 6 months now since i sold my 88' toyota truck that had an sas swap and 37's. So i just picked this up off my buddy.

its an 86' bronco 2, its got a ford 9 inch out back with 5:13 gears, its got 6 inch suspension lift, 2 inch body lift, 35 inch m/t's, 2.9 v6, 5 speed, its got a detroit gearless locker out back and a lockright up front. and a bunch of other stuff...i took this picture right when i got it home.

pretty nice rig! The BII's do pretty good offroad. You still running the D28 up front? If so, ditch it an get yourself a D35.

Just curious, why you sold the 88 yota?

what's that mean?

why does the bumper need to be airtight and have air fittings on it?

Ive never heard of that.

You can run air tools off it with a compressor hooked up which i have.

You can fill your tires back up after you air them down for the trails.

I can use it for my installment of arb air lockers.

It looks B.A

Dave

I bought it for $1200 and put a bunch of spare parts on it to build a spare rig. I then traded to my buddy for my ktm 525 which is worth somewhere around 3k-3500. so the profit margin would be why i sold it hah.

If you're interested in buying one, I might part with one if you're interested. I was going to do the SAS swap, but a D35 is almost just as strong as a D44 and you get close to the same flex unless you do a multi link suspension. Plus I'm looking into doing cut and turned beams, so a sas wouldn't help me out much there haha.
