kicker generator sound.......

yet another problem with this r ive had for a few months...... it just started doing this thing like an hour ago while i was out riding (i guess home is never the right place for problems) anyway when you go to kick it it makes this "grinding" or "generator" sound...... if youve ever had one of those windup flashlights or radios you know what im talking about...... but it will run after you punch 1st then hear that sound while your letting off on the clutch....

any theories on what it could be???

sounds like one of your gears is whining, make sure that you have the right amount of oil in there, and maybe try a new tranny oil
