spark plug dosent seem right

i got a 88 250r with a cool head, fmf pipe, jet, filter, dynatek cdi with coil. the only way my bike will run is with .010 gap, thats practically a pubic hair, what does everyone run for gap, and if its abnormal what do i look for

sounds like your stater is going bad you shouldn't have less than .018 gap

Dude... you gotta quit measuring your pubes for comparison.

But, just so we're on the same page, you want the gap about 2 pubes wide or .020.:huh

Your best bet is to start testing electrical components following Beerock's sticky above.
