Im looking to getting another quad, and I hear that the 450 is faster than the 700. How is this? I thought it was more CC's = faster. Im not into racing, and dont know much about mechanics. Can the less weight of the 450 make that much of a difference?

Thanks.

The 450 is faster when both are in stock form. The 700 has much more potential. Do the "big 3" to both( intake, exhaust and jetting(fuel controller for Raptor) and the Raptor jumps ahead by quite a bit. You can get up to about 54 horsepower with the big 3 on a Raptor. The 450 is lighter and will handle better for most riders.

Like the guy above me said the yfz 450 will beat the 700 stock. But you can add alot to the rappy.

I saw a guy on an 07 raptor 700 down at the river when me and my friends were down by harner road (where the side of creek are jumps) We were all jumping, and the guy on the 700 would only go 1st gear on the jumps lol.

My grandpa thinks the same thing lol. He has a grizzley 660 and he says he will smoke me. He says 660 is roughly 200cc more power.

I just roll my eyes -_-
