WHO! WHAT! Does anyone have any info on last weekend at Steel City? All I have seen was the PRO finishes. I was wondering how the mini classes did!:eek2:

WTF is up with that??!!
I sorta figured this would happen as who was supposed to show up?
IMO, It would have helped if they would have had a pre-reg for the amatures to insure a full gate.

It would have helped if there would have been a little more than 10 days notice that the amatures were going to race. I'm glad I didn't go now. Only 4 mini quads, and only one moto. Mabye next year they can promote it a little better.

That was our feeling to. We didn't get enough notice of the event. Erik really wanted to go but we just hadn't planned on it and then we found out about it just a few days before. Jerry wasn't able to get the time off work with such short notice. Kinda sucks! Maybe next year they will plan it out a little better and then maybe they'll have a better turn out.:ermm:

TRUST ME I WISH WE DID NOT GO. LAST RACE OF THE DAY , THEY RAN ALL THE BIKE CONCI RACES ,THEN THE MINI QUADS , FIRST THEY WANTED TO CUT THE TRACK FOR THE 90 MOD CLASS , THEN THEY LET THEM RUN THE WHOLE TRACK BUT ONLY THREE LAPS,

$ 60.00 per PERSON CAMP FEES
$ 30.00 PER PERSON GATE FEE
$ 30.00 PER CLASS RACE ENTRY FEE

A WEEKEND AT STEEL CITY NOT PRICELESS

Oh Boy, Glad I didn't go now too. Terrible promotion on this one for the amatures.
Hopefully Steel City will be on the ATVA schedule for next year and get rid of Pleasure Valley.

Now that's a great idea (PVR to Steel city).
I'd bet Cernic has a different opinion. LOL

We went to Steel City to for our first try at MX. My 10 year old has ran many GNCC and local harescrambles, and wanted to try MX, and being that we only lived 10 min from the track, we tried it. I was told to be at sign ups at 7 am and pratice at 8. Well, practice started at 11:16am ( 7 min on half of the track). Then we had to wait thru 24 motos for our first run. That came at 3:13 pm. Now at the start, my son and I meet 3 really nice fathers and there kids, they told us alot about MX and talked it up very good. (they said quad only races go way faster). Then to my liking they talked to Rita, and asked here to combined the 2 motos, since there were only 4 quads. She agree to let the kids run 3 laps of all, not half of the track, ten mins later it was over. All in All, it was a long day, and i'm glad we did not have to wait for 24 motos to finish. I think we will stick to harescrambles for now. (one hour or so and its over) :)

You talked to Ron, Steve, and Dave...... three really nice guys Kyle has been racing with Ron and Steve's daughters the whole six years we've been at this. Check out Kyles web page for the balance of the PAMX state races there's a few close to you.... there not the quad only races... (well two are)there over for this year but you should enjoy them more. Come race the quad only PAMX races next year we'd love to have yea.....:D

Maple Shade is going to be a blast this weekend....it's just so da** far.
