Dash Panel Question

I was wondering if any of you would know if the instrument dash panel (ex. ignition key and neutral light) fron a 2005 trx 400ex, would fit on my 2001 trx 400 that has Renthal bars? It would mount where the bar clamps are.

All advice appreciated in advance.

It should, I dont recall any changes in the actual ignition switch or where it returns to the wiring harness.

As far as the bars, if they are fat bars, you may have trouble getting the molded "snap" connectors to fit.

hope im not to late! dont do it they switched plugs all around the plugs wont fit they just reversed them. the one mounted on your 01 frame is now on your 2005 ignition coil. i no because i got a 05 harness sitting in my room and i checked it all out the plugs are all ****ed up even the headlight harnesses are switched around. tail lights to.
