Well my brother has a 2002 Craptoid and hes gonna try to sell it for $5500.00 so hes thinking about buing a 250r that has a; Lonestar+2 swingarm, and probably a small bore, and a FMF pipe and silencer (brand new), and thats probably all it has and everything is all stock on the R. Well the guy wants to sell it for $3000.00. we know the guy pretty well and its in decent shape (for it to be 17 years old). so tell me what you guys think about this deal. Thanks KP

**on another note** if we get this bike we will be selling the FMF pipe. so ill keep you updated.

do you really think that he cannot get that much for the yammy. cause it is mint the thing just has 21 hours on it. and never been flipped, rolled, wheelied onto the grab bar, or even wot. it also comes with a set of 24 paddle kenda geckos on douglas 190's. i thought that was a good deal on the raptor. oh well KP

you might be able to get that much for the raptor but i mean u have to sell the thing to get the 250 id amagine you would have to sell it relitivly quick. So id drop it to 500 and take the first 4800 you can get buy the 250 then sink the rest of the money 1800 into mods. Also why sell the paddles why not keep them.

First off, I apologize for doing this, But I dont have an EX Riders account. I am Kaysen's(KP's lil 300) brother. I bought my Blue Raptor in March of 2002. It was never really what I wanted. around here the only serious riders are the drag racers, who kinda ride trails. I have ridden my raptor very little and am tired of getting beat by the draggers. Recently one of my buggy friends bought a good condition 1986 250R. It hs all of the usual mods, pipe and silencer, K&N Filter, nerfs, bumper, grab bar, and about ten sets of wheels and tires. Like my brother said, it has a Lonestar swingarm, but it is a +3". This makes it perfect for my intended use(dragger and duner).

I could sell my Raptor and buy the R, as I have already aranged for my friend to hold it for me. The sand tires are Kenda Gecko's with eight paddles, and the sixteen little paddles, so I guess they could be called 24 paddles? They are mounted on Douglas .190" Red Labels.

I have never liked the FMF Pipes, and I do not plan on running one. But just as you recommended, I will plan on putting around $1500 in the R as soon as I get it. But that will be in the form of an ESR 310 or 330 kit and his pipe and silencer combo. This is so that I can still run with the big boys in my area. I am hoping to get 45-50 horsepower out of it.

If anyone is interested, I can sell my Raptor for $5300 without the paddles.

Thank You
Nic...
