i just put on a uni air filter, outerwears airbox cover, taken off the snorkel and covered the hole with pantyhose, and had a fmf megamax slip on on my quad and I just put a 110 main jet in it. I went by that chart on the 250ex performance faq thread. the thing is i cant ride it until i mount my tires and put the brakes back on.

It starts up just fine and idles for a little then shuts off. It'll start right back up and run for a while then stall. When its idleing and i give it gas like normal it stalls. I can only rev it up if i give it gas slowly. What gives? Too Rich? I cant really get a good spark plug reading cuz its just idleling..........

Check the fuel filter inside of the gas tank. If broken clean the tank, lines, and system thru and including the float bowl.

It is on the main/reserve pipe inside of the tank. Slightly to the rear and on the street side of the fill port. Empty tank and use a long handled mirror and flashlight to inspect. Made of white plastic approx. 5-6 in. long and 5/16 in. in dia.
