Well I decided that I needed to spice up my springs so I took them apart and started sanding. It was very time consuming but I think it was worth it in the end

My dad isn't sure but we sprayed them out of a gun. It came out very nicely. Hopefully it withstands the stress and abuse. I will let you guys know how they hold up.

Looks real good man, Did you use a compresser or a vise to remove the springs? cuz I wouldnt mine doing mine up too.

They look good, i need to do my springs too, im not sure about how to take apart the shock though. How is the paint holding up i was thinking PC for mine.

Removing the springs is very easy, all you do is take a small screwdriver and at the top of the spring there is a C-clip. Just pry it up and you should be able to do it by hand. Just move the spring and slide the bottom spring mount off and there you have it. The paint wouldn't hold up for long im sure. I rode on them once and the outside didnt chip at all. On the inside it didnt chip either but did rub off from being put to use. I would recommend PC though, saves the hassle.
