GETTING READY? 1. Sand tires will help. Nobbies will work...just not all that well. You'll need to carry more speed if you stick with nobbies. 2. All dunes look alike until you get to know them. So open your loops slowly. 3. Bring extra gas. Sand eats horsepower. 4. Carry extra water. 5. Never jump without a spotter. You don't know how many kids are playing on the other side. 6. Scout out your riding area. That way you'll know where the 50 foot drop-offs are.

CLEANING? 1. Use fresh water...and lots of it. 2. Use WD40 or karosene on the chain to counter rust. Remember, if salt water gets into the break caliper, it'll freeze it up. Use WD40 or karosene or CorossionX.
