question about setup

hello i just got a 01 400ex and it is suppost to have a 440 bb kit but it also has a stage 1 hot cam and a yosh slip on and looks like stock jetting . it does run but after about 4-5hrs on the plug it fouls and i have to replace it its black and carboned up was wondering if its cause was the s1 cam or the stock jetting .

if its black its not stock jetting as far as i no black means to much fuel if i was you i would put pull the jet out thats in it and see what it is with your jet up i would put a 168-170 in there..

i just want to know if any one else has the same mods and if they work well or if i should get a stage 2 hot cam and change the jetting. its my first quad so im just learning.

if your in the market for a new cam get a stage 2 for te 440. i have it in mine and owuldnt have it any other way. the 440 gives you the low end of teh stage 1 so you can bump to a stage 2 and have more top end, its sucks a kick a ss cam. its ovedrall a great cam.

also, i didnt know they came in 168s...lol pretty sure its just5 incriments for the most part.

and to ad to that. i have a 42 pilot and 170 main. and its not big enough. its started popping on decel the other week. id pump it up to a 180 or so but im trading for a 250r tomorro:D stoked
