axle loose?

hey guys i took my r for a ride the other day and when i came back i noticed that the axle was sliding back and forth a little when i made a hard turn. its not moving around really bad or anything its just sliding. its kind of hard to explain so ill try and get pics to show you what i mean

I have the same issue.. i found out that it wuz my carrier bearings... but my hub nuts arent loose but i have sum play there. R the hubs serviceable, or do i have to get new ones?

the hub nuts don't have to be too loose to have play in them. Its possible the spline on your axle amd/or hubs are worn allowing play. For tightening hub nuts I either use a air impact or breaker bar w/3' pipe over half of it to tighten them down. No play in mine at all. The hubs aren't serviceable, when the spline is worn out, that only option is to replace them. Good news is hubs are plentifull and cheap. You can use 85-89 250r and 85/86 atc350x hubs.

Always do... but i just didnt know what to do about it.... i learned dat lesson a long time ago wit my raptor....
