putting fcr on 05' adapter or airbox ????

I got a trx fcr carb and am wondering what is the best way to put it on I have seen the dasa adapter and may go with that because I have a lot of uni filters unless someone has a better idea. maybe a airbox swap or another adapter.

If you can get an 06 or newer airbox, go that route. I've heard it's a good upgrade for the 04-05's.

i would put the adaptor, the 04-05 intake tube is dyno proven with a dasa intake kit to produce more than the 06+ tubes.

Agreed

Plus the 06+ air box fits horribly in the 05 subframe. You have to twist and rig everything. I tested it with my friends 06 air box and said heck with it and bought an adapter.
And you get to keep all your air filters.
