Whats going on people?
Well a few days ago I got a chance to talk to Ct Racings Allen Knowles about his opinion on the ds 450 bike and motor mods.
He stated the bike is a good bike all around. It's just that It lacks the bottom end power that the other 450's have.
He recommends this setup to get the most out of the 450 until future products become available.
He strongly recommends the ron woods race pipe (loud version) for being a really good pipe out at this time for the bike. Without the air box lid.
The camshaft that rossier engineering sells. For mostly bottom end power but a boost throughout the power band.
A 13.6:1 high compression piston from cp pistons.
He also informed me that he is almost about down with r&d with the port work for the head through his specs. And from a few bikes that he's tested this setup on he's getting around mid to high 50's .
He stated his still working on a pipe kit for the bike and will be available soon.
