CRF450r/TRX450r 3 Wheeler

Does everyone remember this from awhile back??? Everyone always wondered if the guy finished it or not. I don't remember if this is the same guy or not, but it is the same project!

I found this thread in the thumper talk crf450r bike forum. He just created it a month ago.

I don't think thats the guy who chopped up a trx450r. To start with, he was in the middle of a divorce. That might be Jason Hall, he built one using a crf450r frame. Nice bike either way. That guy that chopped up a trx450r was Mr.atc, blacksheep and he had a few other names. He was building his to run woods races with, definety not mx width.

i think i remember the one mephyst is talking about. the guy had a 450r and he chopped the front of and put forks on it to make it a 3 wheeler. it started as a full 450r tho, i am also curious to see what ever happened with that build.

nobody has heard from that guy in about 2 years. He hasn't been any of the 3ww boards atleast. He was building it to race gncc type races with. He raced his 350x and sometimes 250r, but discontinued parts and really hard to get parts were making it hard to replace stuff that broke. He wanted to build something more recent and easy to get parts. I think he started that in 05. He was gonna graft on a crf450r frame to the trx450r frame he chopped, use the crf450r forks, crf gas tank, shrouds and radiators. I don't remember all the details.

Actually, there are recent pictures of Blacksheep's creation on .org right now. It looks pretty much complete except for plastic.
