Just picked one up and I'm putting it in right now. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to fit correctly. The two top posts seem to be a hair *** off and the radiator wants to sit crooked. The left side, if you're looking from the from the front sits higher. Anybody else have any fitment issues with the Afco?

I've never heard of any fitment issues with Afco rads. My own Afco fit perfectly.

I'm inclined to believe your frame or mounts are tweaked before I believe the radiator is the culprit.

With no problems at all. I would check your mounts as well. My only gripe about the Afco is the billet hose mounts are anodized blue....and if you have seen my build...i cant have any blue!???~~~~?
Workin on getting some red anodized as i type this...good luck

I think Easy off oven cleaner will remove anodizing. Might be cheaper then new fittings.

Now that you mentioned it, mine was also a little off with both top mounts sitting slightly crooked but I never thought any of it since I figured it was my aftermarket frame.

Well, my frame is definitely not tweaked or anything like that. Here are a couple pics. First in the bike, you can see my top mounts all crooked and I actually had to bend them a little just to get it on. On the bottom left, you can see it barely goes in to the bushing. I then took it out and compared it to the stocker. It appears as though the top mounts are off. Especially the left one. I measured and it's off by about an 1/8".

Is it brand new?? If it is i would send it back. I know its a pain when you have something right in your hands and want to get it done but i wouldnt be able to sleep knowing that my expensive radiator is all jacked up.
If its used i would make some custom top mounts out of some raw 90 deg angle aluminum stock. Maybe hunt around for a different rubber gromet for the bottom mounts that would give you a little leway.
Good luck and keep us posted.
Powerball tonight kids!!!

my afco radiator has some play in it too. The mounts are alittle loose, I can pull mine up ~1/4". It doesn't go anywhere and stays in put. I'm using a 88 frame, the front end is slightly bent. I thought it had to be that.

Hey Fear250r ..... mine sits EXACTLY like that although I changed the rubber bushings to smaller hole diameter so it sits snug. But anyways like deathman53 said, its unlikely to go anywhere.
