Help 2006 kfx 400 question

Hello, I just bought a 2006 kfx 400. I notice that when you go to wind it out it stutters at higher rpm, I don't know if it is stock or had any work done on it. I know thats not much info but I'm looking for ideas of were to start. thanks

It could be jetting, or maybe the rev limiter. Have any pics? Thats gonna be a way to tell if it has atleast an aftermarket exhaust. If thats the case, it could be jetting for sure.

I will post some picks later this evening, it has stock exhaust but the baffle was out when i bought it. the only other thing i can find is that the front fenders have been shaved. but thanks for the info.

Do you mean its "cutting out" ? Thats a sign your running lean on the main jet.
