Ideas to transfrom this quad to xc

Hello,

I am curently working at a resturant as a dish washer and i am getting paid pretty good and i am thinking a bout mods to make my 07 bill balance edition look pimp.

First off, does anyone want to trade shocks because mine are just ugly as hell i dont like the red springs.

I ride mostly trails and am thinkking about getting into racing. So, what are some ideas. ANd list how much everything is going to cost i want this to be a trail riding beast

looking to get rid of:
-ugly shocks
-ugly plastic

keep the shocks they are hi/lo speed compression... get some propegs, flexx bars and skid plates. it will be pretty "pimp"

flexx bars $250-$300 depending where u buy them

frame skid plate $100

propegs $200-$400 depends on what brand u like

if you dont like the shocks just put covers on em. its you dont like the plastic get some new graphics other than that skid plates, bars, handguards, wheels & tires. when you have the $$ get some suspension, or have the stockers re done by gt thunder.

I recommend an aftermarket rear shock linkage. I got a GT Thunder linkage and it made a huge difference in the ride. No more pogo stick in the rear. I have been amazed at the difference. It goes for $225 new. I hear getting GT to revalve the shocks and use their new piston makes it even better.

I might be selling my elkas for 650. I race xc with them. They are triple rate standard travel. Never have bottomed out ever and they look sweet:D

dude if you think the shocks and plastic is ugly whyd you buy it!?
but if you wanna get into XC, suspension (stock yamaha is d**m good) and a stabilizer are where the money is at. then flexx bars.

How much faster/power you gain with the curtis sparks kit?

My b day is a month away so i will get at least 1 mod for sure

I am planning on getting black bumper/black plastic/black hmf pipe carbon fiber or sparks kit/black nerfs/black beadlocks/full skid plate/black a arms/ possibly used elka shocks off ebay
