If i take off my front end on my moto440 and put on a +3 front end, would it be AMA legal? The stock front end is 50" already, but I see guyz that run the +3 front end with long travel shocks..let me know..thanks.

u cant go over 50 inches. at a local track buy me i had to drive threw a little jig they had set up at 50 inches. if u dont make it u dont race. someone i know had +3 a arms on a raptor and he ended up jacking his custom axis shocks all they way up and tipping the wheels in just to make it

looked like this \ /

of course he put it back right after he got done.

dude! it still gonna be the same width , there talkin +3 over the stock width of a cannibal, they will also fit the moto, ur nuts to want 56 inch front end besids your already at the maximum of 50! the reason for buying a moto is so u dont have to do these mods, just get a better set of front shocks and some better wheels and your all set

MotoRacer- Yes you can put a +3 front end on it. You may or may not have to get off-set wheels to make it 50 inches. And fyi a long travel front end will be way better than the Moto's front end. Later.

:huh :huh dude what are you saying:confused:

if you get +3 a-arms, then it would be 56", and if you get offset rims then it would be even wider:huh

exriderdude- Do you know that much about front ends? I have +4 +1 a-arms on my Walsh 250r and it is 49 inches up front. I have the 4 1 off set wheels also. On my Moto 440 I have Walsh +3 a-arms and it is 50 inches wide. Long travel a-arms do not make your quad 56 inches wide. They just allow you to have longer shocks. You said "i dont know if there is a limit, but the minimum is 50". Thats not true either. The limit is 50 inches and there is no minimum. So did you really think all the people at the Nationals with +3 and +4 a-arms quad was wider than 50 inches?

the moto with +3's would notbe 56" wide it would be about 50.5" a stock moto width is 48.5" i beleive. it has +2 a-arms over a cannible speed and blaze.

u should be over by about .5" but measure your bike with out you on it to see how wide it is from outside of wheel to outside of wheel then just add 2 inches onto that number. the reason i say without you on it is because with you on it it lowers the bike which in turn puts the frt. wheels out alittle bit or if youll still be too wide jack up the frt. suspension to get is as narow as possible then repeat what i just said.

dude.....its wide enough, unless ur dana creech then thier is alot of room to improve before you gotta be worrying about a better front end
