416? hd cam chain or not

im putting my 416 back together,,,i got the hd head studs and i was wondering is it that hard to put in the crf450r timing chain or is it a waste of time...how hard is it to do...

It's not too hard, especially if you have an impact wrench, that makes things 100x easier. It's nice knowing you have a little more protection so I would do it as long as you have everything apart.

you take the old chain off.....and put the new one on. DONE! No mods needed....but you will have to tear you motor down

not to mention....400ex chain=$100.....crf450R chain = $39

so i just need to remove the side cover and take the clutch basket out...
