temp sensor light coming on

08 drr70 temp sensor light is coming on. it is dull then gets brighter when u push the throttle. how do i tell if bike is running hot or if this is a malfunction on sensor. radiator is full and bottle has about 2" s in it.

try venting off the top of the head. Perhaps you have some air trapped in there.

I have ran across a few of these temp sensors that are shorted out.

You can check it with a digital meter. Or, if you have another bike, switch them out.
